Answer: If the generator leaks are found, the following should be taken:
(1) When water is found in the casing during operation of the generator, the cause of the water should be immediately identified. If it is caused by slight dew condensation, the inlet water and inlet air temperatures of the generator should be increased to be higher than the dew point of the air in the casing; but not exceed the specified value.
(2) When the generator humidity indicator rises but the environmental humidity has not changed, the generator air temperature is basically unchanged, there is a large difference between the humidity on the turbine side and the exciter side, or when dew condensation occurs in the air cooler, report immediately and organize the following inspections.
1 $> Wear protective equipment and inspect the generator end, hot and cold air ducts, air coolers, etc. If the generator end or hot air duct is found
If there is obvious dripping water, the machine should be stopped immediately for treatment.
2 $> If the humidity indicator is high due to the environment and dew is condensed in the air cooler, the air cooler chamber should be immediately opened to prevent the stator insulation from being reduced.
The side door is opened to reduce the humidity inside the aircraft, and measures are taken on both sides.
3 $> If you check that the generator has no dripping water, but only individual coolers have dew dripping water, isolate it and continue to observe whether the humidity drops again.
(3) If the humidity of the shell is not high and dew condensation occurs on several air coolers suddenly or successively, isolate and inspect the dew condensation coolers one by one. If the cooler leaks, isolate the leaking coolers. After the cooling station was isolated and inspected, the humidity was still high, indicating that there was a leak in other places and should be stopped for inspection.
(4) During the load shedding shutdown process, if water dripping in the generator or corona appearing in the stator end windings is found, and the humidity continues to rise, the shutdown should be stopped immediately.
(5) If the increase in humidity is caused by climate change, appropriately increase the air temperature of the air cooler to reduce the humidity to prevent dew condensation in the generator.
