The third phase of Xi'an Xianyang International Airport project is an important aviation hub expansion project in northwest China, aiming to enhance the airport's comprehensive service capabilities and its status as a regional transportation hub. The project includes the construction of the new East Terminal, the expansion of the runway, and the upgrading of transportation supporting facilities. The designed annual passenger throughput can reach 83 million passengers, and the cargo and mail throughput will be increased to 1 million tons. The new terminal adopts modern design, integrates green building concepts, and is equipped with intelligent facilities to provide passengers with an efficient and convenient service experience. The project will significantly enhance the route network coverage capabilities of Xi'an Xianyang International Airport, further consolidate its status as a gateway airport in Northwest China, and assist in the construction of the "Belt and Road". At the same time, the project will also drive regional economic development and promote the prosperity of tourism, logistics and related industries in Shaanxi and surrounding areas.
